Jigsaw provides clinical supervision, professional training, and specialist consultation, drawing on extensive experience in psychological assessment, complex trauma, and the out-of-home care and child protection systems. Most supervision and consultation is delivered by telehealth, so we work with practitioners and organisations across Australia.
Professional training and workshops
Jordi has extensive experience training psychologists, allied health staff, support workers, and corporate teams. He has delivered training across trauma-informed formulation and treatment, managing burnout and vicarious trauma, problematic and harmful sexualised behaviour, transitions, and gender and sexuality, among other areas. Training is interactive and practical, and — even where the subject matter is difficult — engaging and grounded in real-world application.

Across our team, we have delivered training to more than 1,000 caseworkers, carers, and practitioners working in the out-of-home care sector. Training is delivered in person or online, and tailored to your team's role, caseload, and current challenges. Half-day, full-day, and multi-session formats are available.
Specialist case consultation
Drawing on around seven years of dedicated consultation to complex out-of-home care, foster care, and child protection cases, Jordi and the Jigsaw team provide specialist clinical consultation to agencies, allied health practices, and individual practitioners working with highly complex presentations. This is consultation for the cases that don't fit the textbook — where trauma, neurodevelopment, attachment, and mental health overlap, and the path forward isn't obvious.

Consultation is typically a short, focused series of sessions, and ends with clear, practical next steps you can take into a case plan, a treatment approach, or a referral pathway. It can be delivered by video, on-site, or in our rooms in Drummoyne.
Organisational consultation
Jordi also provides consultation to businesses, schools, and allied health practices. His experience across mental health, burnout, child protection, out-of-home care, and team management can help organisations support their staff, navigate complex situations, and build plans for ongoing organisational wellbeing.

Clinical supervision
Jordi Tomé, Director of Jigsaw, is an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor and is endorsed in Clinical Psychology. He provides supervision across the stages of a psychologist's development, with particular depth in assessment and in working with complex trauma.

Areas of supervision focus: Jordi's particular interest is in the formulation of how childhood adverse experiences and trauma affect development — across neurodevelopment, emotional responses, coping, and daily functioning — and in how to support people to heal using an empathetic, person-centred approach. Much of his expertise comes from working with children, young people, and adults experiencing the child protection system or in out-of-home care. He is proficient across modalities and frameworks including CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic psychotherapy, schema therapy, the neurosequential model, and polyvagal-informed approaches. He also supervises psychologists conducting psychometric assessment, particularly of complex presentations, using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
Format and fees: Supervision is offered individually and in groups, mostly via telehealth across Australia. Supervision is charged with reference to the APS recommended hourly rate for psychological services. Contact us to discuss your supervision needs.
