About our practice
Jigsaw Psychology & Assessment is a specialist psychology practice based in Drummoyne, in Sydney’s Inner West. We provide psychological and neuropsychological assessment, evidence-based therapy for children and adults, and dedicated services for children and families involved with out-of-home care and child protection.
Who we are
Our team brings together clinical and registered psychologists with significant experience across assessment, complex trauma, forensic mental health, and the child protection system.
We work with children, young people, adults, families, carers, and the agencies that support them — and we bring the same care and rigour to every piece of work, whether it’s a diagnostic assessment, ongoing therapy, a court report, or consultation on a complex case.
Our specialist focus
Two areas sit at the centre of what we do. The first is psychological and neuropsychological assessment — autism, ADHD, cognitive and intellectual functioning, learning and educational difficulties, and FASD — using gold-standard instruments and producing detailed, individualised reports.
The second is out-of-home care and child protection, where our clinicians have prepared independent expert reports relied upon in NSW Children's Court proceedings, and provide assessment, therapy, training, and consultation to children in care, their carers, and the agencies working with them.
Alongside these, we provide evidence-based therapy for children, young people, and adults across a broad range of concerns.
Our approach
Our work is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and culturally responsive.
We take a strengths-based view of each person, consider the systems and relationships around them, and pay particular attention to cultural context — including in our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and communities.
Above all, we aim to make people feel genuinely heard, and to produce work that's useful in the real world.
Where to find us
Our rooms are in Drummoyne, in Sydney's Inner West, with street parking nearby. We see clients in person and offer telehealth across Australia where appropriate.
