RATES AND REBATES

All psychological intervention services are exempt from GST. Payments are made on the day of consultation by Direct Debit or Credit Card.

All psychological assessment services attract GST. Assessment fees must be paid prior to the initial clinical interview.

We accept NDIS funded patients if you are Plan-Managed or Self-Managed. We are not a registered NDIS Provider.

We do not Bulk Bill.

Cancellation Policy: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. This policy requires clients to notify us at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee (full fee of the session). This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to make the necessary arrangements.

A referral from your General Practitioner (GP), Paediatrician or Psychiatrist is required to access Medicare rebates for psychological therapy sessions. If you do not wish to use any form of insurance, you may self-refer to our therapy services.

If you plan to use private health insurance for your treatment, you do not need a referral.

Written referral is recommended from your GP, Paediatrician, Psychiatrist, NGO, NDIS, or Legal Representative for all assessment services, however you are able to self-refer.

Medicare rebates are available for psychology services provided under a referral letter and Mental Health Treatment Plan.

A Mental Health Treatment Plan is completed by your GP and provides access to Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be conducted face to face or via online.

Your referring GP will schedule a return visit to review your progress after the first six sessions. At this point, your GP will provide a re-referral for an additional four sessions, if required.

As of 1 July 2024, Medicare will rebate:

- $141.85 per standard consultation with a Clinical Psychologist

- $96.65 per standard consultation with a Psychologist

Medicare rebates may be claimed on the day of your session.

When referred by a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician only a referral letter is required.

Private health insurers may provide rebates for psychology services. Please confirm with your insurance provider the level of cover.
