RATES

ADHD Assessment - $1400 
Cognitive Assessment only - $1500

Cognitive and Adaptive Functioning Assessment - $2500

Cognitive and Academic Assessment - $3000
Academic assessment only - $2000
Autism Assessment only - $3000
Autism and Cognitive assessment - $4000
Extensive Neuropsychological Assessment - $4500

The cost of the assessment includes: 15 minute introduction session (phone); clinical interviews with the client and those closest to them (parents, family members, friends - depending on assessment type); psychometric assessment; a detailed report with diagnostic impression and diagnosis, client specific therapeutic recommendations, feedback and discussion of results and recommendations; one hour feedback session (zoom/phone).

Assessment fees must be paid prior to the initial clinical interview. Your session will be postponed or cancelled if payment is not received 24 hours before your first session. We accept NDIS funded patients if you are Plan-Managed or Self-Managed. We are not a registered NDIS Provider.Details of our fees can be obtained by contacting our clinic.We do not Bulk Bill.

GUIDE ON WHAT TO EXPECT

To book an assessment contact us via phone (0478 261 970) or email info@jigsawpsych.com.au. Please try to have a referral from your GP, physician, NDIS provider, counsellor, or other.

Before your first appointment online questionnaires will be sent that may include questions about yourself, about your child, or asking someone close to you to answer about you or your child.

Appointment 1 - Clinical Discussion and Assessment

An initial discussion about your concerns for yourself or your child, your psychosocial history, and your needs moving forward. This can be completed on the phone before the assessment, or in person on the day of the assessment. We will then conduct the psychometric testing in person. This part of the session can range from one to four hours (with breaks) depending on the testing being completed.

Appointment 2 - Feedback Session 

Your psychologist will send you the detailed report and book in a 30 minute phone call or zoom session to run you through the results of the testing which summarises the assessment, diagnostic impression, and recommendations. Here you will have a chance to ask any questions you have.

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE & MEDICARE

Private health insurers may provide rebates for psychology services. Please confirm with your insurance provider the level of cover. As we do not currently provide psychological therapy at this practice, Medicare rebates are only available for short-term therapy, not assessments .

REFERRALS

Written referral is recommended from your NDIS provider, school counsellor, GP, Pediatrician, or Psychiatrist for all assessment services. You may also self-refer to assessment services.
