ABOUT THE PRACTICE
Jigsaw Psychology is a private psychological practice run out of rooms in Drummoyne, NSW, on Wangal land. The practice currently offers clinical and psychometric assessment (see Services) for children and adults, for a range of reasons.
The practice is a warm environment with natural light and a comfortable feel. The practice is a strong ally to groups such as the disability community, First Nations people, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and the LGBTQI+ community.
While we do not offer psychological therapy currently, we are to conduct short-term engagement, and are able to make referrals through our network of psychologists, psychiatrists, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists.
ABOUT JORDI
Director of the practice, Jordi Tome, is a Clinical Psychologist from Sydney. Jordi completed his Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Jordi is an AHPRA approved supervisor of other psychologists, and conducts a variety of training to psychologists, social workers, and other support workers across NSW.
Jordi has a number of years experience in a wide variety of settings. Jordi has worked in hospital settings and special health clinics with adults, private practice with children and adults, and currently remains working in public service with vulnerable children, adolescents, and their families and carers.
Jordi has significant experience administering psychometric assessments to all ages, including the detailed analysis, report writing, and sharing of results. These include, educational, cognitive, ADHD, autism, memory, and more broad neuropsychological assessments.
Jordi also has a strong passion for trauma-informed practice, with significant experience in a number of therapeutic modalities including, CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, and Attachment based therapeutic modalities, plus many more.
