Therapy for adults
Evidence-based, trauma-informed psychology — in Drummoyne, and via telehealth across Australia
Whether you're dealing with something specific or a sense that things just aren't working the way you'd like, therapy offers space to understand what's going on and to change it. Our psychologists provide evidence-based therapy for adults across a range of concerns, working collaboratively with you to build a plan that fits your goals — whether that means processing the past, coping better in the present, or moving toward the future you want.

How we work with adults
We start by understanding you in the context of your life and what you want from therapy, then tailor our approach accordingly. Different concerns call for different methods, and our clinicians draw on a range of established, evidence-based modalities.
Approaches we draw on:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
-
Schema Therapy
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Psychodynamic and attachment-based psychotherapy
-
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) approaches

Several members of our team have particular depth in complex and childhood trauma — including the ways early experiences shape the brain, the nervous system, identity, and relationships in adult life.
Bilingual therapy: our psychologist Hongwei Jia provides therapy in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. For First Nations and culturally diverse clients, members of our team are trained in the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) framework.
Getting started
You can contact us directly to make an appointment. A referral isn't required to see a psychologist, though a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan may give you access to Medicare rebates for therapy. If you'd like to use private health insurance, you won't need a referral. Call us on 0478 261 970 or use the enquiry form, and we'll respond within one business day.
